HIT With Lucy
In this pre Pilates series I am guiding you through the very basics of Pilates step by step. Take the workouts in the series in order. Then, when you are comfortable with the steps you can progress onto the other workouts on your membership. In this workout we look at the Pilates breathing and learning to lift and move from our anchor points.

This full body cardio workout with Lucy Pinto from The Box is the perfect compliment to your Pilates workouts. This will get you sweating and your heart pumping. I love Lucy’s workouts because she always places importance on correct technique and functional movement. I hugely respect Lucy’s training methods and I hope you agree this is a fantastic addition to the platform when you fancy doing something a little different.
HOW IT WORKS:
This is a combination of low intensity training (LIT) and high intensity training (HIT). There are 3 blocks. Each block you have:
4 x low intensity exercises (60 seconds each exercise)
Followed by a 2 minute high intensity section (this remains the same each time)
You repeat this block 3x, each time the low intensity exercises change but the 2 minute HIT section stays the same.
So, get your favourite heart pumping music going, grab your water and get ready to sweat!
