Many people find the roll up a very challenging exercise and struggle to come up out of the mat. You can use this helpful video to assess where you are at with your roll up and how you can slowly progress it to eventually be able to do the full roll up smoothly. Don’t forget practice practice practice, it’s ok to stick with one variation for some time to give your spine time to open up. As you get more articulation and build more strength you will get there.
