Ellie Maud is the founder of Brighton Pilates. Her Pilates journey started initially from her love of dance and from this stemmed her interest in movement, theory and exercise.

Ellie became very passionate about the Pilates method at a young age as she used Pilates to supplement her dance training. It was during her years of studying Dance at Roehampton University that she discovered her love for teaching and the more scientific aspect of dance/movement. After graduating at University that she went onto study Pilates at Body Control Pilates in London.

More recently, in 2017 she completed her Comprehensive Classical Pilates training at Pi Studios in London. She now utilises all her training and experience to give her clients a rounded Pilates education, taking the best from both. Ellie has now been teaching just over 12 years and loves nothing more than helping people to achieve their goals in Pilates.
